Initiator Instigator
David has a knack for getting things done and can assemble a great team to do just about anything in short order. He has worked in business development for several e-commerce startups, and as the advertising sales director for a large data publisher. In 2003 he started an estate and project management company and continues to consult with other companies in the areas of sales, operations, and business development. He's a gaming pioneer who works hard to keep up with the constant waves of positive change within the industry—although he freely admits he is no match for his children when it comes to competitive play.
Visionary
Rob was one of the original employees at ValueAmerica.com and experienced the emergence and height of the dot-com era. He was very fortunate to be in a position to watch the new economy emerge. As a musician he put out two Hip Hop albums as Blue Black of the Unspoken Heard. Rob has a Masters degree in the Management of Information Technology from UVA where he also went undergrad. He's been a Sous Chef, an IT consultant, and a University Administrator in both Student Affairs and Workforce Development; and boldly states he has miles to go before he rests. "Too many ideas, not enough time." Rob is not afraid to color outside of the lines, seeing connections and applying solutions outside most people's field of view.

Dave is a PMP certified technology executive with a proven record of success in delivering complex, mission-critical projects on time and under budget. He's a recognized leader with strong planning, organization, and implementation skills that are a perfect fit for the world of gaming and eSports. Former positions include Vice President of Engineering for a custom electronic design firm and Director of Development for a startup venture with Series A funding. Dave has degrees in engineering and information technology from UVA.
Professor Activator
Billy went to Vanderbilt undergrad and UVA for his Master's and PhD, which is where he met David and Rob. Like Rob and David, he's had a variety of work experiences including: a middle school creator and director and high school teacher in Tennessee, community college teacher, professor at North Carolina State, white water raft guide in California, Peace Corps administrator, U.S. Senator's aide in Washington, and camp counselor in Brazil. He's currently an Associate Professor in Community Engagement at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.
The focus of his work there, and with Gamr, is around guiding people to reflect on their experiences and see what is transferable to other areas. After the devastating earthquakes in 2010 and 2011, he had a lot of students volunteer in the relief efforts. He created a course for them to bring those experiences into the classroom and validate the importance of what they had done. Since then, this idea of having students volunteer in the community has become a major part of the undergraduate experience at his university, and is something he intends to transfer over to the global gaming community.
